OEG Offshore has delivered cargo carrying units for rental supply agreements in Europe and Africa during the start of 2017, Petroleum Africa reported.
According to SBNN, OEG Offshore has been awarded contracts with independent African oil and gas and service companies to supply several hundred offshore containers, tanks, baskets and skips in support of drilling exploration activities offshore Cote D’Ivoire and Senegal, West Africa.
These recent contracts continue to be fulfilled from OEG’s full service base in Aberdeen as well as multiple partner locations in The Netherlands, Angola and Ghana.
OEG will also deliver over 100 standard cargo units for a three-year pan-European rental agreement with a major drilling contractor. The first tranche of units left Aberdeen in February to start work in the UK and further NORSOK units will be mobilized from their Dusavik base to be utilized offshore Norway. OEG’s rental fleet is also being deployed to service a number of contracts in the Eastern Mediterranean.
All the units incorporate industry standard safety features and are designed and manufactured to DNV 2.7-1/EN12079 and delivered with fully certified lifting assemblies to suit customers & country specific requirements.
