NOVATEK company announced that it has formally joined the Arctic Economic Council (AEC), a press release announced.

Leonid Mikhelson, NOVATEK’s Chairman of the Board of Directors, noted that the company’s joining to this council represents its commitment to the initiative of Arctic Council and to develop the economic sustainable in the region.

AEC is an international organization established to facilitate business-to-business activities in addition to support the economic development within the Arctic region. This council include a wide range of companies from start-ups, small- and medium-sized enterprises to regional and international corporations operating in the Arctic zone.
