The Director of the Unified Governmental Complaints System at the Cabinet Tarek El Rifai has announced that the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources (MoPMR) has resolved 2,063 of the 2,360 complaints that were received in December 2023.
This came during the meeting of Prime Minster Mostafa Madbouly to review the efforts of the Unified Governmental Complaints System last month.
El Rifai elaborated that the MoPMR’s complaints were mainly issues related to installation, maintenance, and the cutting off of natural gas or the supply of petroleum products throughout the country. He added that the ministry has responded immediately to 764 complaints of emergency.
El Rifai said that most of these urgent complaints were related to natural gas consumers which comes in the light of the wide expansion project for using natural gas.
