The Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources (MoPMR) has opened an integrated project to support inclusive education in Damietta in attendance of social responsibility officials from the Ministry, the Chairman of Misr Fertilizers Production Company (MOPCO) Ahmed Mahmoud, and other relevant authorities.
This project was implemented by MOPCO in cooperation with the Rahma Center for the Care and Rehabilitation of People with Special Needs.
The Integrated Education Support Unit includes several pillars, starting from the construction of the unit, purchasing tools, devices, measuring tools, and various educational tools, through specialized training courses to train and qualify specialists, ending with the project’s advertising phase and then the opening.
The goal of establishing this unit is to diagnose and evaluate children with special needs, such as those with autism, hyperactivity, and learning difficulties, by providing morning and evening sessions for them through qualified specialists, as well as training specialists at the center.
Also, it will support teachers needed for those with minimal costs that cover the costs of working in the unit and achieve its sustainability.
