Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly has followed up on the efforts of the Cabinet’s Unified Government Complaints System and its relevant government agencies during July 2024.
Its performance was examined through a detailed report prepared by Tariq Al-Rifai, Director of the system.
According to the report, the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources (MoPMR) demonstrated remarkable performance in responding to and resolving complaints.
The Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) and its subsidiaries dealt with 3,265 complaints and reports. These included complaints and requests to install meters and house connections as well as reports of suspected gas leaks. Teams were directed to deal with complaints and reports accordingly.
The MoPMR addressed the reasons for and responded to 3,143 complaints and reports, with a completion rate of 96% of the total complaints.
