MOP: Public Complaint Resolution System Achieves 99% Success Rate in Handling Citizens’ Complaints

Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla stated that the public complaint resolution system succeeded in handling 99% of citizens’ complaints, exceeding the expected rate of 98%.

According to digital complaint system data, the ministry received 49,371 complaints, 48,819 of them are resolved and 552 are being handled.

El Molla elaborated that the petroleum sector has prioritized promptly responding to and resolving citizen complaints in its commitment to alleviate any challenges faced by people especially in providing fuels and natural gas.

He referred to the positive role of the gate which achieved a great leap forward since its launch, affirming that it is fully supported and reviewed by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly.

The minister highlighted his continuous directives to the petroleum companies to immediately respond to the people’s complaints and make it easy to resolve them as part of the sector’s strategy to improve the services provided to citizens.
