Despite the repercussions of the Coronavirus and the current Russian-Ukrainian crisis and its direct impact on the global economy, and within the framework of the state’s plan to expand the use of natural gas, the natural gas delivery program succeeded during the year 2021/2022 to connect 1.2 million housing units to the natural gas grid.

With regard to the “Haya Karima” initiative, El-Molla explained that work is underway in 420 villages of the initiative, of which 118 villages have been connected with natural gas.
