Misr Petroleum Company’s sales amounted to 6.4 million tons of petroleum products in fiscal year (FY) 2020/21, the company’s Chairman Mohamed Shaaban said.

This came during a virtual general assembly meeting chaired by Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, to review the company’s performance in 2020/21, the ministry said in a statement.

Misr Petroleum’s service and filling stations amounted to 1,508 facilities across the country. This makes it a top company due to its large number of stations, Shaaban noted.

During the meeting, El Molla emphasized the importance of making the scheme for promoting petroleum products and the services provided to citizens more efficient. He also encouraged continuous development in providing various activities for petroleum marketing companies to develop, expand and increase investments.
