The Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources issued on November 26 new transfers and reassignments for the heads of companies belonging to the petroleum sector, according to Ahram Gate.

This comes in line with the ministry’s keenness to support petroleum sites with needed leaders and competencies to achieve its future goals and exchange expertise.

The reassignments are as follows:

Mohamed El Meligy, Chairman and Managing Director, the Gulf of Suez Petroleum Company (GUPCO).

Ali Kandil, Chairman and Managing Director, Gemsa Petroleum Company (GEMPETCO).

Ahmed El Sherif, Chairman and Managing Director, El Hamra Oil Company.

Emad Salama, Chairman and Managing Director, Petroleum Pipelines Company (PPC), starting from January 9, 2020.

Khaled Mahran, CEO of National Petroleum Services Company (NAPESCO).

Mohamed Abdel Khalik, Chairman and Managing Director, Wadi El Sahl Petroleum Company (Waspetco), starting from April 23, 2020.

Tawfik El Sherif, Chairman’s Assistant for Engineering Affaires, Petroleum Pipelines Company (PPC), starting from January 9, 2020.

Mohamed Abdel Latif, Operations General Manager and a Board of Directors member, Petroleum Pipelines Company (PPC), starting from January 9, 2020.
