Madbouly Follows Up on Progress of Haya Karima Projects

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly held a meeting to follow up on the progress of Haya Karima’s (“Decent Life”) projects in the presence of Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, and Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development in addition to a group of senior officials involved in the initiative.

At the beginning of the meeting, Madbouly affirmed the interest of various state agencies in monitoring the progress of the first phase of Haya Karima. This work is in preparation for starting the second phase of the initiative.

The meeting discussed the developments of projects within the first phase of Haya Karima and their expected dates of completion.

Moreover, the meeting reviewed the implementation of more than 27,000 operations, some of which have already been completed according to the timelines set for them. Some of them are currently being implemented and are achieving completion rates higher than the target. Implementation rates are being increased in order to adhere to the timelines specified in this regard.

Coordination is taking place between all responsible and concerned parties within the framework of implementing the initiative’s projects.

The meeting further reviewed efforts being made to coordinate with international financing bodies in order to support the initiative’s projects in a way that supports the efforts of the Egyptian state in this regard.
