The Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouli, reviewed with the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla,a number of the ministry’s files including strategic petroleum reserves and the ongoing projects, according to a press release.
Madbouli was assured over the sufficiency of petroleum products feedstock, and confirmed the need to work on increasing it especially in the coastal cities during the summer.
Additionally, the prime minister reviewed the situation of the projects under implementation in cooperation with the major oil international oil companies (IOCs) which will reflect positively on the Egyptian economy.
El Molla shed light on the petrochemical project in Alamein as one of the latest projects. He assured that this project will help in providing petrochemical products which can be used to cover the domestic market needs and exporting the surplus.
