Libya’s National Oil Company (NOC) has announced that the force majeure at Sharara oilfield has been lifted with immediate effect and that production has restarted, according to a press release.

The decision comes into effect from October 11 and is dependent on the safety and safety of the workers.

NOC acknowledges the efforts made by both local and international parties and pledges to adhere to the professional and non-political constants. With regard to the oil profits, the company stressed that it is a matter for the executive authority in the country.
