Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) aims to boost its oil exports and increase gas production, Zawya reported.

According to the chief executive of the state-run company, Hashem Hashem, KPC plans to focus on offshore oil exploration as well along with developing its petrochemicals industry.

“We are deploying new technologies for our maturing fields for smart and efficient operations. We are moving towards an integrated value chain from our reservoirs to our petrochemicals complexes,” Hashem Hashem told an energy industry conference in Kuwait City.

Hashem said that the company’s plan comes in line with the company’s 2040 growth strategy plan.
