Khalda Achieves 99% of Production Target

Khalda Petroleum Company’s production of natural gas reached 4,643,282 barrels of oil equivalent (boe) in July 2017, achieving 99% of its targeted production of 4,677,635 boe for the month, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.

The company additionally produced 3,773,509 barrels of oil and 959,349 barrels of condensates, reaching a combined total of 4,732,858 barrels.

Khalda’s oil production increased by approximately 4% from the 3,615,690 barrels of oil the company produced in June.

In early June, Khalda Petroleum’s CEO, Khaled Mowafy, stated that Khalda Petroleum’s total production had reached 45.2 million barrels of crude oil and condensates, 500,000 barrels of butane, and 248 billion cubic feet (bcf) of natural gas.

Khalda Petroleum is a joint venture between US Apache and the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC).
