Iraq’s WTE Wajdi Group, SPX to Start JV

SPX Flow, a global supplier of flow components and process equipment, is willing to start a joint venture (JV) with WTE Wajdi Group to deliver service rotating and static equipment for industrial and power oil and gas customers in Iraq, according to Valve World.

“I’m very excited by the opportunity that the JV with WTE in Iraq provides. It bolsters SPX Flow’s global commitment to localize service capabilities in proximity to our key clients and enables us to best serve and quickly respond to their requirements,” SPX Flow Middle East’s Regional General Manager, Mortimer Buckley, said, according to World Pumps.

“The JV with SPX Flow is a significant step towards our vision of delivering a world-class service locally. WTE’s North Rumaila Service Centre will provide the installed base around the country with a key hub for vital services for all types of rotating equipment, regardless of the original equipment manufacturer. I look forward to collaborating closely with SPX Flow to serve IOC and NOC customers in the region,” WTE Wajdi Group’s Owner and General Manager, Falah Wajdi, added.
