Iran’s Pars Oil and Gas Company  (POGC)announced that it intends to drill new well at South Pars offshore gas filed with the aim of preserve the field’s production, Shana news agency reported.
The Director of the company Ali Akbar Majed said that the measures of the well are being taken to keep the continuous production from the field in addition to drilling a new well in the northern area of this field.
Majed remarked that the preliminary processes for drilling a descriptive well in the northern part of the field have started and drilling operations are expected to begin by late September
