Iran has the capacity to produce 7.4 million barrels of crude oil per day, according to the head of the office of the Supreme Leader’s economic division.
Adding: “We are an oil country, we cannot lag behind the countries that are planning to increase their production capacity.”
Ali Aghamohammadi stated that oil is the key to Iran’s development.
He added: “Iran is an oil country and we can reach the daily production capacity of 7,400,000 barrels of crude oil, while the countries around us are planning to increase oil production and increase their production to 10 million barrels per day, we cannot lag behind them.”
The head of the economic group of the Supreme Leader’s Office continued: “Therefore, we must act as quickly as possible to develop the oil industry, we need more oil reserves to develop oil, and we must have maximum exploration in this field.”
