The Egyptian International Gas Technology (Gastec) launched its second natural gas fueling station in Beni Suef, operating at a capacity of 900 cubic meters per hour (m3/h) and is equipped with six charging points, according to a statement.

This is Gastec’s second fuel station that utilizes advanced natural gas supply techniques, whereas gas compressors and gas tanks are placed in an upper floor above the canopy of supply, allowing more room to provide miscellaneous customer services, thus contributing to developing its infrastructure.

With the Beni Suef’s fuel station,  the total number of Gastec’s natural gas fuel stations jumps to 94 stations in 22 governorates, which gives the company the highest geographic prevalence rate for natural gas fuel stations in Egypt. Additionally, Gastec is now providing easier payment methods for natural gas car conversion through various facilities including Fawry.
