The Gas Market Regulatory Authority (GASREG) participated in the first regulatory forum for citizen services, which was organized by the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA), held in the Smart Village on December 26th and 27th .
Karem Mahmoud, GASREG CEO, delivered a speech during the opening, in which he welcomed the heads of regulatory bodies and Hossam El-Gamal, NTRA CEO, for his sincere efforts in supporting cooperation between regulatory agencies and improving the investment environment.
Mahmoud also extended his thanks and gratitude to the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources for his continued support for the GASREG and his sound guidance that contributed to achieving many achievements.
In his speech, Mahmoud welcomed everyone to the first organizational forum for citizen services, which comes in light of the political leadership’s interest in improving the quality of services provided to citizens.
Then he gave a simple introductory overview of the Gas Market Regulatory Authority, its role, and the purpose of its establishment
Mahmoud further explained that one of the top challenges facing regulatory bodies at the present time to improve the level of citizens’ satisfaction with the services provided is how to achieve effective and flexible communication that helps raise the level of awareness of the services provided to citizens.
