EOGC 24 Awards Highlight Innovation and Sustainability

At the 10th annual convention of the Egypt Oil & Gas Group (EOGC 24), attended by Engineer Karim Badawi, the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, awards recognizing operational excellence were presented. The Pharaonic Petroleum Company received the Award for Operational Excellence for its exceptional work on the Atoll pipeline project, which is designed to enhance gas production to feed the natural gas grid.

ApacheĀ  was awarded for Excellence in Brownfields Award for the Berenice Field, recognized as a leading example of operational efficiency.

The award for excellence in enhancing operational energy efficiency was awarded to Badr El-Din Petroleum Company (BAPETCO) for its green environmental excellence project, which sets a benchmark in improving efficiency and reducing carbon emissions. The Pharaonic Petroleum Company took second place for its innovative approach to operating a medium-voltage gas generator, replacing two older generators to boost operational efficiency.

For the health, safety, and environment project award, BAPETCO again stood out, winning for its “Empowering Competencies” program aimed at skill development. In a commendable second place, Rashid Petroleum Company (Rashpetco) was recognized for its successful implementation of a culture of health, safety, and environmental stewardship.
