Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) announced that it has launched “NEXT”, which is an accelerator program designed to unlock growth opportunities and tackle challenges in the energy sector through building new digital ventures for business-to-business (B2B) and consumer (B2C) categories, Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.
The program enables core digital transformation through an organization-wide SAP system implementation and digital upskilling its workforce.
NEXT reflects the UAE’s future vision to be a global platform for knowledge-based, sustainable, and innovation-focused businesses, according to ENOC.
“From developments such as AREA 2071’s hosting of 20 global start-ups valued at AED 42.2million ($11.5 million) to participate in two global accelerator program, to Dubai’s plans to invest AED 1 billion in projects and companies that take part in its future accelerators program, the move towards encouraging research and development and incubation program across key sectors is a reality,” the CEO of ENOC, Saif Humaid Al Falasi, commented.
ENOC Group is cooperating with other partners, to deliver different components of NEXT, including BCG Digital Ventures, which is a US-based corporate investment and incubation firm; Moro, the Dubai government-owned digital data hub; and EY, a multinational professional services firm.
