El Molla Emphasizes Importance of EGPC’s Economic Role

Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla has emphasized the important economic contribution of the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) describing it as the most important economic institution and its performance reflects this description.

This came during his meeting with the executive council of the EGPC in which he highlighted the necessity of innovative solutions as well as non-traditional and fast performance, especially at the current time.

El Molla gave directions to maximize the production of petroleum resources and the commitment to apply policies of expenditure and consumption reduction as well as integration between the companies in addition to setting an attractive climate for investments and supporting foreign partnerships.

Moreover, El Molla referred to the importance of accelerating the application of the ERB system besides keep updating and developing of existed entities.
