El Molla Visits Ramallah, Israel to Support EMGF Efforts

The Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, is visiting Ramallah and Israel on February 21 to discuss with Mohamed Mustafa, the Palestinian President Advisor for Economic Affairs, and Yuval Steinitz, the Minister of Energy in Israel, the efforts and goals of the Eastern Mediterranean Gas Forum (EMGF).

The meeting targets forming a common vision to develop a regional gas market as well as to support the member states’ efforts in investing their natural gas reserves. In addition, the fruitful and constructive cooperation between EMGF countries aims to streamline the current and future available infrastructure in the region.

It worth noting that EMGF includes seven founding countries Egypt, Palestine, Cyprus, Greece, Jordan, Italy, and Israel.
