Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, called for increasing the precautionary measures taken against the COVID-19 to protect the workers and their families.

The minister advised reducing the number of employees within the facilities and to take prompt actions amid health concerns. He also stressed the importance of utilizing technology in holding virtual meetings in addition to maintaining COVID-19 precautionary measures and providing all necessary items to maintain the health of workers.

Additionally, El Molla called for continuing to raising awareness through several mediums. He also stressed the necessity of coordination between all authorities, especially medical, industrial security, and occupational safety and health.
