Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, reviewed in a meeting Tuesday the plan to deliver natural gas to 1.2 million residential units in all governorates in fiscal year (FY) 2020\21, according to a relevant press release.
During the meeting with heads of several gas companies, the minister also reviewed the action plan to implement the project of natural gas delivery to the villages in the framework of the presidential initiative dubbed as Decent Life, which targets providing people in villages with civilized services.
The Minister also discussed the issue of natural gas delivery to local bakeries in cooperation with the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trading and steps to use prepaid natural gas meters.
The meeting was attended by Magdy Galal, Chairman of the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) and his assistant, and Chairmen of Petrojet, Town Gas, Egypt Gas, Gas Region (Regas), Cairogas, Sinai Gas, the Egyptian Company for Appliances Maintenance and Technical Services (Sianco), Misr Petroleum, Energy and Overseas Group, Maya Gas, Natgas and Fayum Gas.
