Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla held talks with the CEO of Mubadala Energy Mansoor Al Hamed, and the accompanying delegation.
The meeting reviewed the existing aspects of cooperation between the petroleum sector and the Emirati company that participates in the work of research, exploration and production of natural gas in the Mediterranean and the Red Sea, as well as following up on the executive position of the company’s current projects in Egypt.
During the meeting, El Molla discussed ways to maximize areas of joint cooperation, investment opportunities and projects in which Mubadala could participate in light of its interest in pumping new investments into the energy fields in Egypt, as well as participating in the implementation of emissions reduction projects in various petroleum activities.
For his part, Al Hamed expressed his appreciation for Egyptian relations and the investment climate in Egypt. Al Hamed stated that Mubadala is committed to continuing the expansion of its projects in Egypt, and is also looking forward to increasing its investments in light of the promising opportunities enjoyed by its petroleum sector.
