Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla has praised petroleum sector employees for contributing to the development and enhancement of Egypt’s oil and gas industry.
El Molla pointed out the success of the nation’s economic reform programs in enabling the Egyptian economy to face the current challenges.
This came during his attendance of the general assembly of the General Trade Union for Petroleum Workers (GTUPW) headed by its Chairman Mohamed Gobran.
During his speech, El Molla expressed his deep appreciation for the efforts and sincerity of the industry’s labor force. He stressed that workers in the petroleum sector are always accustomed to participating positively by demonstrating the highest levels of discipline and commitment.
For his part, Gobran expressed his appreciation to the minister for attending the meeting, noting El Molla’s keenness on visiting the trade union and supporting it.
At the end of the meeting, the GTUPW granted the minister the union’s shield.
