Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla has praised the leading role of the Alexandria Petroleum Company in the Petroleum Geographic Zone in Alexandria through its capabilities in addition to the developments that have been carried out in the zone.

This came during his chairing of the company’s general assembly to approve its planning budget for the fiscal year (FY) 2024/25.

He explained that the company’s remarkable success story contributes to achieving the sector’s vision to support securing supplies of petroleum products in the local market, increasing the capabilities of refineries, developing production units, providing the necessary investments, applying linear programming for refineries, and using the SAP program within the framework of digital transformation in addition to using the necessary scientific and practical programs.

This proactive development has proven its feasibility in light of the current challenges we are witnessing and has resulted in projects that operate according to international standards, El Molla elaborated.
