Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla held an extended meeting at the Egyptian Natural Gas Company’s (GASCO) National Gas Control Center to follow up on the operational process in light of the heat wave that the country is witnessing, which resulted in a significant increase in consumption.

During the meeting, different work scenarios were reviewed in light of the heat wave and how to confront it.

The meeting was attended by Yasseen Mohamed, CEO of the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS); Yasser Salah, President of GASCO; and Mahmoud Nagy, Undersecretary for Transportation and Distribution at the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources (MoPMR).
