The Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, issued a number of ministerial decrees and promotions, Egypt Oil & Gas reported.

Mohamed Ali Abadi, former Head of E.Styrenics, was assigned the presidency of Sidpec, while Osama Mahdy, former Head of Sidpec was appointed as the new Head of E.Styrenics.

The Minister transferred Sidpec’s Director General of Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental, Talaat Khalifa, to be General Director of Safety and Environmental Protection at the Egyptian Petrochemical Company.

Mahdy Abou El Fattouh, former Assistant of Sidpec’s Head for Engineering Affairs was transferred to fill the position of Expert at the Egyptian Petrochemicals Holding Company (Echem).

Mohamed Ibrahim Shahat, General Manager of Occupational Safety and Health at Rashid Petroleum Company (RASHPETCO) was assigned the position of General Manager of Occupational Safety, and Environmental Protection at the Alexandria National Refine & Petrochemical Company (ANRPC).

Moreover, Mohamed Tawheed Tawfiq, General Manager of Alexandria Petroleum Company was appointed the position of General Manager of Maintenance at Egyptian Linear Alkyl Benzene Company (ELAB).

Mohamed Abdel Rahim, General Manager of Occupational Safety and Health at ANRPC was transferred to Sidpec to fill the position of Director of General of Safety, Occupational Health and Environmental Protection.

Meanwhile, Hany Ahmed Mustafa, ELAB’s General Manager of Maintenance was appointed as Sidpec’s General Manager of Maintenance.
