Egypt’s Petrojet, UAE’s NPCC Sign Strategic MoU at ADIPEC

Egypt’s Petroleum Projects and Technical Consultations Company (PETROJET) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC), a subsidiary of the UAE National Marine Dredging Company (NMDC).

Witnessed by Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla, the MoU signing took place on the sidelines of his participation in the activities of the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference “ADIPEC 2021”.

The MoU was signed by PETROJET’s Chairman Waleed Lotfy and NPCC CEO Ahmed Al Dhaheri, in the presence of NMDC CEO Yasser Zaghloul.

The MoU aims to activate cooperation between the two sides in the activities of the oil and gas industry and promote partnership in the implementation of major projects, whether in Egypt or the UAE.  This is especially important since the two companies enjoy modern capabilities and equipment, advanced technologies and technical cadres trained at the highest level that enable them to gain the confidence of international oil and energy companies in executing their major projects.

Lotfy said that the MoU with the UAE National Petroleum Construction Company will open new horizons and expand the company’s activities in different labor markets. It will also help meet local and global needs with high quality and efficiency, and will continue to improve the services provided by the company to clients.

For his part, Dhaheri noted that the MoU will be beneficial to both sides, providing the opportunity to benefit from the accumulated experiences of PETROJET, as an industry pioneer, and will support growth and joint expansion into new sectors.
