The Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, met with Ukrainian Ambassador in Cairo, Hennadii Latii, and Deputy Chairman of Naftogaz of Ukraine, Sergiy Konovets, to discuss boosting cooperation in the fields of oil, gas, and mineral resources, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.
Both parties discussed investment opportunities available in the Egyptian oil and gas sector and talked about ways to benefit from the Ukrainian expertise in the fields of mineral resources exploration and production (E&P), El Molla stated.
Meanwhile, Latti pointed out Ukraine’s eagerness on boosting oil and gas E&P investments in the Egypt, as well as mining.
In related news, El Molla met with Mexican Ambassador to Egypt, Jose Octavio, to further discuss investment opportunities in Egypt in oil and gas fields.
Octavio expressed Mexico’s interest in boosting cooperation with Egypt in the oil and gas, and providing operational assistance to it, as Mexico has a long experience in these fields and is keen on benefiting from the Egyptian sector.
