Egypt’s Fuel Automatic Pricing Committee has increased diesel price for Q3 2023, according to a statement.
As of May 4, the price per liter of diesel will increase by 1 pound to EGP 8.25.

As for octane fuels, their prices will remain unchanged as follows; octane 80 at EGP 8.75; octane 92 at EGP 10.25; and octane 95 at EGP 11.50. The price of industrial-use mazut also will remain unchanged at EGP 6000 per ton.
This decision was driven by the average prices of Brent crude in the global energy market and the value of the Egyptian pound against the US dollar.
