The Minister of Trade and Industry, Neveen Gamea, announced that Egypt is preparing for organizing the first technological exhibition for natural gas vehicles (NGV) conversion  and replacement which will be launched in January 2021 under the patronage of the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi in participation of major NGV manufacturers, according to a press release.

Gamea elaborated that the exhibition aims to spread the awareness of the economic and environmental benefits of using natural gas as a fuel in addition to defining the available funding programs to facilitate the conversion process and introduce the car models which run on natural gas.

The minister mentioned that several activities will be conducted in the exhibition including customers’ registration  to join the program, in addition to a workshop to discuss the program and how to implement the conversion and overcome any possible technical issues.
