Over two days, Egypt will hold the activities of the Egypt Mining Forum 2023 which will be launched under the slogan ‘Building Upon 120 Years of Geological Discoveries for a Decarbonized and Sustainable Future’.
The event will be held on July 18th and 19th and is organized by the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources as a major event in the international mining sector agenda.
The event is witnessing a global presence of international specialists and experts, highlighting the investment opportunities in the mining sector in Egypt.
The forum includes more than 40 speakers, led by Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources; Bandar AlKhorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; and a number of mining ministers, representatives of countries and heads of companies participating in the conference.
El Molla stated that during the forum, the latest emerging opportunities in the field of Egyptian mining will be reviewed. This will be along with positive developments in terms of policies licenses, legislation, investment and exploration opportunities; and mechanisms for facing global and industrial challenges. The forum will also tackle dialogue around technology and sustainability, sharing and obtaining valuable information to secure projects and grow investments.
The event also sheds light on global developments in this industry, opportunities, challenges and efforts to reduce emissions and green transformation in the mining sector.
More than 2,000 decision-makers in the fields of the mining sector will participate in the forum. It provides participants with opportunities to communicate and establish new business partnerships. The forum highlights the financing roadmap in Egypt and the future of investment and partnerships as a key factor for unlocking the potential of the mining sector.
The Egypt Mining Forum also includes an exhibition hosting 50 exhibitors and 34 sponsors representing various sectors of the mining supply chain. It will also provide an opportunity for attendees to explore a variety of products, services and solutions offered by companies specialized in the field of services and supplies for the participating mining industry.
