The Minister of Industry and Trade, Neveen Gamea stressed Egypt’s keenness to cooperate with Japan to expand reliance on vehicles running on natural gas.
Gamea’s remarks came following a meeting with Noki Masaki, the Japanese Ambassador to Cairo, where they discussed ways to enhance industry and trade relations between both countries especially in the field of small and medium-sized enterprises.
She also stated that Egypt seeks to enhance the automotive industry, especially when it comes to manufacturing vehicles running on natural gas. The minister expressed Egypt’s desire to benefit from the Japanese expertise and technologies in this regard since Japanese products are highly trusted by Egyptian citizens.
