Egypt Implements 326 Petroleum, Mineral Resources Projects in Seven Years

The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development released data stating that the petroleum and mineral resources sector’s total number of projects between 2014 and 2021 are estimated to be 326 projects worth EGP 1.1 trillion, leading other sectors in the country, the ministry’s official Facebook page reported.

The ministry added that Egypt implemented 97 projects since 2014 at a cost of EGP 1 trillion.

According to the data, there are 229 projects are being implemented in fiscal year (FY) 2020/2021 at a cost of EGP 47 billion.
