Egypt Gas has unveiled its estimated budget for the 2026 fiscal year, targeting a net profit after tax of EGP 420 million. The company’s financial roadmap, disclosed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX), focuses on expanding natural gas delivery networks to residential and industrial sectors while optimizing operational efficiency to support the national economy.

The 2026 budget projects total activity revenues of EGP 9.50 billion, up from EGP 8.40 billion in 2025. To support this growth, the company has allocated a capital expenditure (Capex) budget of EGP 595 million for asset additions, a significant increase from the EGP 327 million allocated in the previous year.

Operationally, the company aims to add 265,000 new converted customers within its own concession areas as part of the national plan for natural gas delivery. Furthermore, Egypt Gas will execute 10,000 conversions in Town Gas areas and 5,000 in Fayoum Gas areas.

The 2026 plan also includes providing customer services to 80,000 existing clients and completing the construction of a polyethylene pipe production plant in Ain Sokhna for the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS).

Beyond domestic operations, the company is targeting the expansion of its engineering and construction projects in several regional markets, including Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Oman.

Egypt Gas operates as a vital technical and engineering arm of the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources (MoPMR), focusing on the development of the nation’s energy infrastructure. The company is a primary implementer of the national plan to deliver natural gas to homes, factories, and power plants across various cities.

The company executes technical works for petroleum sector companies, including the extension of underground networks, main pipelines, and civil, mechanical, and construction works nationwide.
