Egypt exported 40 billion cubic feet (bcf) of equivalent gas to liquefied natural gas (LNG) via ten shipments during fiscal year (FY) 2017/18, the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding company (EGAS) said in its 2018 annual report.
The country’s exports did not have any amounts sent through pipelines in FY 2017/18.
Meanwhile, Egypt imported a total of 10.501 million cubic meters of LNG via 75 cargoes during FY 2017/18.
The North African country sent out a total of 221 bcf from imports to the national gas grid.
Egypt stopped LNG imports after receiving a final shipment in late September 2018, Egypt Oil & Gas previously reported.
