Egypt has connected 9 million households to the national gas grid, Minister of Petroleum Tarek El Molla told DMC Channel, according to Arab Finance.

The country is adding around 100,000 households to the gas grid each month, the minister said.

In addition, 150,000 citizens have signed contracts to connect their households to the national grid under the 18-month repayment plan.
