Egypt Assures Sufficiency of Butane Despite Coronavirus

The Head of Petrogas Company, Raafat Abdel Hady, said that Egypt is working hard to provide sufficient butane cylinders despite the current situation of coronavirus at a price of EGP 65, according to his statements to Sada EL Balad Channel.

He said that the government’s subsidy for the cylinder reached to EGP 25 after the decline of the global oil prices noting that the total cost of the cylinder has dropped from EGP 130 to EGP 90 due to the crude prices tumble.

Abdel Hady confirmed on the constancy of workflow in the storehouses despite coronavirus in all plants over the country adding that the daily production reached to 1.68 million cylinders of butane.

He stressed on the continuity of increasing butane cylinders’ productivity to fulfill demands of the markets pointing to the full readiness for Holy fasting month Ramadan when consumption is expected to soar.
