Prime Ministerial Resolution No. 3001 of 2024 stated the decree to renew butane gas prices, starting September 18th. According to the decree Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly authorized Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Karim Badawi, to take the necessary measures, and based on what was presented by the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, the following was decided.
The price of a 12.5 kg cylinder delivered by the distribution warehouse to the consumer is EGP 150. Meanwhile, the price of a 25 kg cylinder delivered by the distribution warehouse to the consumer is EGP 200. The price for a ton of bulk gas, excluding transportation freight, is EGP 12,000. These prices include stamp duty in accordance with the laws issued in this regard.
