Egypt Adds 40 Tcf of Natural Gas to Reserves from 2016-18

Egypt has successfully added 40 trillion cubic feet (Tcf) of natural gas to reserves from four major projects during the period from 2016 to 2018, Lamia Abou Shahba, Department Manager of Gas Regulatory Affairs at the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS), has said, according to Ahram Gate.

The four projects are Zohr field, the West Nile Delta project, Atol, and the Nooros Development project.

Abou Shahba revealed the information during the Eleventh Arab Energy Conference held in Marrakesh, and organized by the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC).
