EGPC Denies Reports of Diluted Gasoline

The Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) denied reports spread on social media that a number of gasoline stations were mixing water with their gasoline, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.

The company has analyzed gasoline samples from a number of the filling stations suspected of diluting fuel products. The sampling found no evidence of dilution, according to the company.

EGPC reiterated its commitment to maintaining high-quality fuel in service stations and affirmed that it has administrative processes in place to sample and ensure that gasoline complies with national standards.
