The Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) offered 13 liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargoes to be shipped from Idku liquefaction plant in June and July 2019, two source in the industry stated, according to Amwal Al Ghad.
The cargoes were offered in more than one bid round, the sources noted, adding that the buyer will have to arrange the shipments.
Egypt is expected to export around 12 million tons of natural gas for $2 billion in fiscal year (FY) 2019/20, compared to 4 million tons exports for $589 million in FY 2018/19 budget plan, said Ayman Othoman, representative from the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC), according to El Ahram Gate.
