Eight companies and coalitions proposed their offers for a governmental tender on operation and maintenance of Siemens power stations in Beni Suef, the New Cairo Capital, and Burullus, El-Borsa reported.
Governmental officials at the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energies told El-Borsa that the companies list includes Siemens Germany, Orascom-ADERA Coalition, El-Sewedy Electric-EDF Energy coalition, STEAG Energy Services-PGESCO coalition, Triangle-GD France coalition, Doosan, and Mitsubishi.
The Egyptian Electricity Holding Company had addressed four companies to propose their financial and technical offers to operate and fix power stations in the aforementioned areas.
After examining the offers received, the company identified the technical aspects of the project and the prices.
It then issued a tender to operate Siemens’ stations.
