Chinese oil major Sinopec has signed a 2019 annual deal to purchase crude oil from the Kuwait Petroleum Corp (KPC) on October 8, Reuters reported.
The volumes of the crude supply were not announced, but two Sinopec executives told Reuters that the company is purchasing the the same amount of crude supply as in 2018.
On October 7 PetroChina signed a similar agreement for the supply of crude oil in 2019 with the KPC, with the volumes also unchanged from the 66,000 barrels per day in 2018.
