Cargas Launches New Range of Engine Oils

Natural Gas Vehicles Company (Cargas) has launched a new series of engine oil products under the brand name of “Prime”, which are specialized for diesel engines manufactured locally and marketed through Cargas.

In this context, Khaled Gamal, Chairman and Managing Director of Cargas, and Rawda Hammam, Board Member and Managing Director of bp, have made a field visit to Amreya Oil Mixing Complex, affiliated to Misr Petroleum Company, as Ibrahim Gad, General Manager of the complex, gave a presentation on the modern technology used in the production lines of engine oils and lubricants, which meet the highest international quality standards.

During the visit, Gamal stressed commitment of his company to provide high-quality engine oils products to customers, which meets the local market needs, and opening new markets for export; thus contributing to support the national economy by providing foreign currency.

Also, he praised the fruitful cooperation with Misr Petroleum Company over more than 20 years, during which they produced many oils products for octane and diesel engines, with a total production of 40,000 tons. Gamal confirmed the continuous coordination between the two companies to increase production and add new products in the future.

This comes in line with the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources (MoPMR) policy towards enhancing cooperation and integration between the sector’s companies and maximizing the national companies’ role in producing and meeting the local market needs of oils with the highest quality.
