Cabinet Approves Overhaul of Complaints System

During its 3rd meeting, the Cabinet approved transferring the complaints system from the Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) to the Government Complaints and Citizen Satisfaction Secretariat in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers.

The Cabinet further approved the draft decision of the Prime Minister regarding the reorganization of the unified government complaints system and administrative divisions to serve citizens.

Moreover, the draft resolution obligated all government agencies to ensure the integrity of the circulation of complaints, inquiries and proposals. This is in addition to maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of data and information related to them. It also emphasizes that no citizen should be harmed as a result of filing a complaint as long as it agrees with the controls, standards and limits of the right to submit it.
