The Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah El Sisi, received an invitation from the Bolivian Ambassador to Egypt, Luis Alberto Sánchez Fernández, to attend the upcoming meeting of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), Daily News Egypt reports.

The meeting for national executives of GECF countries will be held next month in Bolivia.

Egypt supports the GECF’s goals, especially its encouragement of the use of natural gas as a clean and sustainable source of energy, the Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, said. 

The invitation was extended during the GECF meeting in Moscow.
